IB Programme

DGIS is a pending International Baccalaureate World School intending to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Senior High School. The curriculum for Junior High School students is based on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP). Our proposal on the teaching methods and content of the programme is currently under review.

For more information regarding the IB programme, please visit www.ibo.org.

We also endeavour to offer alternative curriculum on A-Level syllabus in the future.

Junior High School

The curriculum for Junior High School students (ages 12 to 15) is based on the IB Middle Year Programme (IBMYP).

As students will be in adolescent stage of development during Junior High School, the focus of this stage is to encourage students to be personally responsible for their studies, develop self-discipline and hone their social communication skills. At this stage, not only do we offer students a wider range of subjects and language courses, we also organise a variety of experiential learning activities to help students develop the personal skills and resilience, including: morning exercises, farming experiences, outward bound camps and military boot camp days.

Senior High School

We offer the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) to our Senior High School students (ages 15 to 18), as well as IELTS, SAT and other assessments to allow flexibility for worldwide university admissions.
